Join us for a cooking class (2 ticketed time slots available) prior to the Japanese Family & Friend Gathering (free, everyone welcome).
Japanese Family and Friend Gathering
🌸 Get ready to immerse yourself in Japanese culture! Join us on Saturday, January 27th for a FREE Japanese Family and Friend Gathering at the Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center (2638 NW Jackson Ave, Corvallis). Let's celebrate community together with Taiko drumming, karaoke, origami, and sushi making. Don't miss out on the fun from 3-5pm!
We plan to have the various activities:
- Butter Mochi Cooking Class ($10 ticketed activity starting at 12 or 1:30pm, please RSVP)
- Bring an ingredient, sushi making
- Taiko Japanese Drumming beginning at 3pm
- Children’s games, toys, and activities (origami)
- Art for all ages
- Karaoke
- Language learning
- Community networking
